Rose C. Orphe (95) died April 13th in the Golden Living Center, West Newton.
She was the widow of the late Sidoine Orphe. She was born in Hinche, Haiti daughter of the late Albert and Ismelia (Petithomme) Guerrier. Rose was a child counselor in the Haitian school system. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and was a truly spiritual individual.
Survivors include 5 daughters, Marie M. Felix-Orphe of Watertown, Agathe Juste-Constant-Orphe of Canada, Marie C. Orphe of Billerica, Francoise Benjamin-Orphe of Marlboro and Frances Dornevil of Wilmington, 14 grand and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held in the Temple Adventist de Brockton 237 Court Street on Sunday April 17th at 3 pm. Burial will be held in Tuesday April 19th at 12 noon in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Saturday April 16th from 6-9 pm.
