Ana DeBurgo (82) of Brockton died April 11th in her home surrounded by her family and under hospice care.
She was the loving wife of Jose DeBurgo. She was born in Santana, Brava, Cape Verde daughter of the late Alvaro Martins and Eugenia Silva. Ana was a housekeeper for the Brigham and Women Hospital in Boston. She was a communicant of St. Edith Stein Church and enjoyed cooking, playing cards, crocheting, and socializing with family and friends.
In addition to her husband she is survived by 1 son, John Burgo of Calf., 2 daughters, Manuela Burgo of Brockton and Eugenia Burgo of RI, 1 brother, Joao Martins of Cape Verde, 1 sister, Maria Pina of RI, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Friday April 15th at 8 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church at 9 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation in the Funeral Home Thursday April 14th from 7-9 pm.
