Alice M. Devine age 79 of Canton passed away April 4th at the Zephyrhills Hospital in Florida. Born in Boston, she was raised in Randolph and graduated from Randolph High School. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She has lived in Canton for the last 52 years where she was active in Canton Pop Warner helping run the concession stand for many years and making spaghetti dinners for the teams. Alice enjoyed knitting and quilting, and made afghans for all of her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Beloved wife of William F., Jr. Mother of William F. III and his wife Ann of Attleboro, Michael S. of Canton, Veronica Burrows of Dedham, Kathleen A. Shea and her husband John of Taunton, Alice M. O’Brien and her husband Edward of Holbrook, Martin P. and his wife Noelle of Walpole, Patrick J. of Canton and Bridget M. Devine of Woburn. Sister of Barbara Hamm and her late husband Edgar of Brockton, Frances Devine and her husband Dennis of Middleboro, Donna Bois and her husband Raymond of Westwood and the late Bernard and Stephen Dolan. Sister in law of Helene Dolan of FL and Gretchen Dolan of Canton. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Sunday 3-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Monday morning at 10. Burial Canton Corner Cemetery.
