John T. Amrhein age 52 of Canton passed away unexpectedly April 5th at home. Born in Boston, he was raised in Canton and graduated from Canton High School. John was a veteran of the United States Navy where he worked as an Aircraft Mechanic at the S. Weymouth Naval Air Station and after being honorably discharged he worked as a self-employed mechanic for many years. Beloved son of J. Harriet Amrhein of Canton and the late Robert L. Brother of Robert J. of Wrentham, Mary M. Barnes of ME, Joan B. of N.H., Walter P. of Wrentham, Louise A. of Braintree, Joseph T. of MN, Catherine M. Starr of RI, William A. of Easton and Rosemary J. of Lexington. Also survived by 9 nieces and nephews. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday 5-7 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Saturday morning at 10. Burial Canton Corner Cemetery. Donations may be made in his memory to Friends of the Unborn P.O.
