Caroline (Schlott) Michaud, age 86 of Methuen passed away peacefully and in comfort on April 4, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
Caroline was born on September 23, 1929 in Lawrence. She was the daughter of Mary (Norton) Schlott and William Schlott. She attended Lawrence public schools and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1947 and the MacIntosh School of Business in Boston. Caroline was employed as an administrative assistant at several different jobs throughout her life, including the Electric Company and the Title VII Nutrition Program at the Greater Lawrence Vocational Technical High School.
Caroline was the beloved wife of the late Alphonse D. Michaud with whom she shared 59 years of marriage. She was the loving mother of Paula (Michaud) Andrade of Methuen and Karen (Michaud) Moran of Damariscotta, Maine. She was also the beloved grandmother of Matthew Andrade of Stoneham, Allison (Andrade) Whall of Wakefield, and Brendan Moran, Patrick Moran, and Katie Moran of Damariscotta, Maine. Caroline is also the proud great grandmother of Justin Whall and William Andrade. She was the dear sister of the late Philip Smith and Bernard Smith. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as her son-in-law Gus Andrade and Sean Moran.
Caroline spent many happy days vacationing with her family at Salisbury Beach and in Maine. She and her husband also spent ten happy winters with their friends in Jupiter, Florida. Caroline loved her dear “life-long” friends and celebrated her friendship with them on many occasions throughout her life.

Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday, April 8 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Friday April 9 at 9:00 AM at St. Monica’s Church of Methuen. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery of Lawrence.
