Jose DaRosa of Brockton died April 3rd in his home. He was the husband of the late Maria Pinto DaRosa.
He was born in Figueira Grande, Brava, Cape Verde. He was in the construction trade, and a communicant of St. Edith Stein Church. Jose enjoyed dancing and socializing with family and friends.
He is survived by 5 sons, Joao and Nilton DaRosa both of Brockton, Antonio, Joaquim and Jose DaRosa all of Cape Verde, 2 daughters Maria DaRosa Jordan and Ana DaRosa both of Brockton, 1 brother Joao Delgado, 6 grand and 7 great grandchildren, also son in law of Francisca Lopes who passed away March 23rd. Many nieces and nephews also.
Funeral Services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Friday April 8th at 10 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church at 11 am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 9 am prior to the Mass.
