Obituary

Laconia----Anne M. Lamere, 84, of Lindsay Street, most recently of The Inn at Meredith Bay Colony Club, died Friday, April 2, 2016 at Golden View Health Care Center, Meredith.
Anne was born January 27, 1932 in Laconia, daughter to the late Lee W. and Mary (LaPlante) Lamere. Upon Anne's graduation from Laconia High School she went on to study nursing and graduated from Mount Saint Mary - Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing, in Manchester, NH in 1952. Anne then worked as a registered nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital which later merged with Notre Dame Hospital and became Catholic Medical Center where she worked until her retirement.
Anne was a lifelong communicant of St. Joseph's Church, Laconia, NH and after her retirement from Catholic Medical Center she volunteered in the church ministry by bringing communion to the residents of Genesis, Laconia Rehabilitation Center.
Anne was a caring sister to all of her family and will be remembered by her family and friends, along with her sister Alice, for always being there to help anyone in need.
Anne is survived by her brothers, Donald Lamere of Merrimack and Lee C. Lamere of Florida; her dear sister and lifelong companion Alice E. Lamere of Meredith, a sister-in-law, Marilyn A. Lamere, of Laconia; eight nieces, Donna Johnson and her husband, Charles, of Sanbornton, Pam Mailloux and her husband, Gerard, of Laconia, Linda Drouin and her husband, Peter, of Laconia, Debra Lamere, of Tilton, Cathi Cook and her husband, James, of Belmont, Sue Marcoux and her husband, Thomas, of Concord, Lori Pepin and her husband, Andre, of Candia, and Lisa Lamere of Concord; several great nieces and nephews, and 2 great-great nephews. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her three brothers, Francis J. Lamere, Alfred P. Lamere and Paul R. Lamere.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 11:00am at St. Andre Bessette Parish - St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia NH.
Burial will be follow in the family lot in St. Lamberts Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
