Frances E. Bahan of Methuen, MA, died on Wednesday, March 23, 2016
Born in Lawrence on July 9, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Marion Lawless. Frances was raised in Lawrence and was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School and a graduate of Lawrence General Hospital School of Nursing.
Frances worked as a Registered Nurse in various aspects of the health care industry. She gained personal and professional satisfaction with her time at Gillette Company until retirement. Frances was a parishoner at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Methuen. She enjoyed socializing with her retired nursing school friends, such as daily card playing and frequent travels. Frances was well traveled, having visited both Europe and many countries in Asia.
Frances leaves behind two children: Her son G. Michael Bahan of Londonderry, NH and his wife Dianne Bahan, her daughter Elizabeth Greska and her husband Dr. Thomas Greska of Jacksonville, NC. Frances has seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Monday, March 28 from 9:30 AM-10:30 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA. A funeral Mass will follow at St. Monica’s Church at 11 AM. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
