Patrick J. Walsh Jr, age 48 of Canton passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 22nd at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was the beloved husband of Lisa M (Koslowsky). Loving and adored father of Patrick J. III. and Michaela Walsh. Cherished son of Patrick and Nora Walsh of Canton. Brother of Timothy Walsh and his wife Paula of Canton, Robin M. Walsh of Walpole, and Joanne B. Walsh DeRossette of Canton. Son in law of Joseph and Margaret Koslowsky of Belmont. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and loving friends all of whom benefited from his devotion and loyalty. Pat was born in Boston, raised in Canton and graduated from Blue Hills Regional High School. He was the founder and owner of Walsh Corp. in Boston.
Pat’s favorite way to spend time was with the loves of his life: Lisa, Patrick, Michaela and his beloved dog Jake. He was a lifetime Canton resident who loved to volunteer his time for the benefit of the youth in Canton. He was always willing to lend a hand, as a coach, administrator, or simply doing anything that would help others. Pat, a great family man, shared his passion for hockey with his children Patrick and Michaela and could always be found at the rink skating, coaching or cheering. Through his efforts as a coach and board member of Canton Youth Hockey he made a difference in many young lives. Pat was a friend to all and will be missed deeply. Visiting hours will be held at St. Gerard Majella Church, 1860 Washington St. Canton, Monday 4-8 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Gerard Majella Church Tuesday morning at 10, with a burial following at Canton Corner Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to an Educational Fund for Patrick and Michaela c/o Canton Cooperative Bank 671 Washington St. Canton, MA 02021. | |||||
