Sr. Doris Guillet, age 77, passed away on March 22, 2016 at the St. Claire Residence of the Presentation of Mary in Methuen, MA. Sr. Doris was born on January 3, 1939 in Holyoke, MA to the late George and Cecile (Barsalou) Guillet. She attended Immaculate Conception Grammar School in Holyoke, MA. She graduated from Precious Blood High School in Holyoke, MA. She received her bachelor’s degree in education from Rivier College in 1968 and her master’s degree in education from Rivier College in 1974.
Sr. Doris is survived by her sister, Estelle LaBarre of Windsor, CT; her brother, Ernest Guillet of Florida; 8 nieces and nephews; and 11 grandnieces and grandnephews. She is predeceased by her sister, Irene Brouillette.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the St. Claire Residence of the Presentation of Mary, 209 Lawrence St. Methuen from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 2:30 PM at the Chapel of The Presentation of Mary in Methuen. Interment to follow at the Presentation of Mary Cemetery in Methuen.
