LACONIA - Theodora C. "Teddy" Daigneau, 78, of 703 Brewer Court, died Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia.
She was born on May 21, 1937 in Providence, RI, the daughter of the late Theodore J. and Clara (Borek) Jamrog. Teddy received a BA in business management from Bryant College in RI. She worked as a medical secretary for Dr. Detorie in Cumberland, RI. Teddy also worked for several years as a receptionist for Laconia Savings Bank. She was a longtime communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Laconia where she was active in the ladies guild.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Sidney Daigneau of Laconia, one son, Thomas Lund of Concord, two step sons; Donald Daigneau of Laconia and Peter Daigneau of Amherst and five step grandchildren; Meghan Daigneau of New York, NY, Kayla Daigneau of Boston, MA, Stephen Daigneau of Amherst, Madeleine Daigneau of Rochester, NY and Jill Daigneau of Amherst. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Frank Lund in 1995 and one daughter, Deborah Lund in 1987.
Calling hours will be held from 9:30AM to 11:30AM on Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, March 28, 2016 at St. Andre Bessette Parish - St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia.
Burial will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in the family lot at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Cumberland, RI.
