Alexina (Boulet) Holland, age 94 of Derry, NH and formerly of Methuen and Salem, NH passed away at Aurora Senior Living and Nursing Home on March 21, 2016. Alexina was born in Lawrence on November 3, 1921 to the late Alexander and Sara (Bergeron) Boulet. Mrs. Holland was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She was very active at the Methuen Senior Citizens Center. Alexina loved dancing with her husband and vacationing in New Port Richey, FL for ten years. She was a former communicant at Our Lady of Good Counsel/St. Theresa’s Church of Methuen. Mrs. Holland worked as an inspector for Raytheon for 30 years prior to her retirement in 1986.
Alexina was the beloved wife of Harold “Hap” Holland with whom she shared 73 years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of Dennis Holland and his wife Linda of Methuen and Wayne Holland and his wife Merle of Methuen. Mrs. Holland was the dear sister of the late Joan Trank. She was the loving grandmother of Christine Holland and her fiancé Jeff Merrill, Michael Holland and David Holland. Alexina was the cherished great grandmother of Micaela Holland, Alec Holland, Lauren Lajeuneese and Kylee Merrill. She is also survived by her brother in law James Holland of New Port Richey, FL and many nieces and nephews. Friends and guests are invited to call on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Monica’s Church of Methuen. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery of Methuen.
