Mrs. Joan T. Hommel, of Canton,formally of West Roxbury MA. died March 17, 2016 after a brief illness. She was 89 years old.
Devoted wife of William J. Hommel Sr. Loving mother of Edward W. Hommel and his wife Bella of Nova Scotia, John G. Hommel and his wife Valerie of Boston, Nancy M. Donoghue and her husband Daniel of N. Weymouth, William J. Hommel Jr. and his wife Virginia of Medway, Marybeth Bradley and her husband George of Weymouth and Rita T. Amico and her husband Edward of Canton. Loving Grandmother of ten grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St. Canton, Sunday, March 20, from 2-6 PM Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Gerard Majella Church 1860 Washington St. Canton, Monday at 10 AM. Interment Canton Corner Cemetery.
