Passed away peacefully on March 16, 2016. Preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Mary Backus. Survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Nancy, children Crystal (Erik), Nicholas, and Bradley, brother Gerald (Kaye). Terry was a devoted husband and father; a true family man. He enjoyed golfing with his sons, and playing Texas Hold'em with his daughter and son-in-law, Erik. His grandson Michael was the light of his life. Last but not least, we cannot forget Gaborik and Anja, Terry's beloved German Shepherds. Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM, Monday, March 21st at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 N. Margaret St, North St. Paul, MN with a visitation from 5 - 7 PM, Sunday at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave, North St. Paul, MN. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, North St. Paul, MN.
