Janice M. (Radley) Bendell, age 70, of Palm Coast, FL, formerly of Brockton and West Bridgewater, died in Florida, March 10, 2016 following a brief illness. She was the loving wife of Donald Bendell. Janice was born in Brockton, daughter of the late Mel and Corinne (Snell) Getchell. She was raised and educated in Brockton and West Bridgewater, and was a graduate of West Bridgewater High School, class of 1963. For over 40 years she was employed as an Office Manager in the medical offices of Dr. B. Khumer Patel and Dr. Guido Delgizzi. She was a longtime member and secretary of the West Bridgewater Outdoorsman Club, and the American Veterans in Florida. She loved spending time with her family, and liked to cook and entertain, travel to Las Vegas, spend time at the beach and clothes shop.
She is also survived by her children Christopher Coute and his wife Kariann of Taunton, Wayne Bendell and his wife Stacy of California, and Theresa Bendell-Brown and her husband Derek Brown of Florida; seven grandchildren, Madison, Logan, Jennifer, Pamela, Anthony, Noah and Wynne; and her sister Judy Casiello and her husband Sam. She was the loving aunt of Sammy and Coco Casiello; best friend of Teresa Folsom; and sister in law of Ernest Bendell, Priscilla Andrews and the late David Bendell.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Monday 4-8pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Tuesday at 9:30am for a funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10:30am. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Bridgewater.
