Judith “Jude” Papkey of Medway MA, formally of Norwood and Quincy died peacefully on February 23 with her family by her side.
Daughter of the late Warren and Olga (Papkey) Dunmire, she grew up in Quincy with her family her brother and sisters, the late Warren and Marsha Papkey.
She is survived by her sisters, Sandra Gilardi, and Linda and her husband Ron Baker of Weymouth MA. She also leaves two nephews and one niece and 4 great nieces.
She graduated from Quincy Vocational Tech High and later attended Northeastern University and Newbury College.
She worked most of her life in regional hospitals as a Senior Computer Operator and in customer service. She was also active in area ski clubs and was an avid craftsperson and seamstress. She loved to cruise and meet new friends in her travels.
Friends and relatives are invited to the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth for visiting hours on Saturday, March 19 from 9-10 AM and the Funeral Service immediately following at 10 AM.
