Beverly A. (Banville) Daukszevicz, 82, of Whitman, passed away on February 10th in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Leo Dauksevicz and the late Edward Daukszevicz.
She was born and raised in Rockland, the daughter of the late Harvey and Dorothy (Benoit) Banville, and the sister of the late Sonny Banville. She was a graduate of Rockland High School, class of 1951.
Beverly has been a Whitman resident for 60 years. She worked as a bookkeeper for Academy Medical in Whitman for 25 years. She also enjoyed spending many summers with her family in Vermont.
She is survived by her children, Terry Holland and her husband Dick, Joan Butterfield and her husband Ron, Peter Dauksevicz and his wife Patti, Paul Dauksevicz and his wife Elise, Leo Dauksevicz and his wife Kathy, Karen McDonald and her husband Louie, Jean Mills and David Daukszevicz and his companion Jennie; she was also the loving grandmother to 25 grandchildren Keith Holland and his wife Casey, Patrick Holland, Rick Holland and Alyssa, Shane Butterfield and his wife Amy, Jill McGuirk and her husband Brian, Ryan Butterfield, Danny, Jessica, and Amy Dauksevicz, Nick and Sophia Dauksevicz, Erika Osborne and husband Derrick, Nikki Dauksevicz and her Fiancé Luke, Michael Dauksevicz, Joanie Edgett, Meaghan Perry, Lou McDonald and his wife Jodie, Matthew, Joshua, and Emily McDonald, Bethany, Jonathan, Kayla, and Leo Mills and Alexis Daukszevicz and 10 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 17th at 11:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland. Visitation will be on Tuesday February 16th from 4:00-8:00PM.
