Santa M. “Shirley” Modica (Fiorenza) age 82 of Middleboro, formerly of Canton passed away February 9th at home. Born in Boston, she was raised in South Boston and attended Trade School in Boston. She owned and operated Shirley’s Hairstyling in South Boston for many years. She has lived in Middleboro for the last 7 years and prior had lived in Canton for many years. She enjoyed travelling, playing poker and occasionally going to the casinos. Beloved wife of the late Nazzareno “Sonny”. Mother of Joseph P. Modica of Middleboro, Stephen F. Modica of Uxbridge, Karen Sisson of Canton, and Linda Champagne of Raynham. Sister of Annette D’Agostino of Dedham, Deborah Fiorenza of Plymouth and the late Ignatius Fiorenza. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Saturday morning at 10:30. Burial private.
