Jason M. Lockwood, 33, passed away Sunday Morning, February 7, 2016.
He was born December 4, 1982 in Philadelphia, PA and moved to the Fernandina Beach - Yulee area in 1992. Jason was friendly, loving and kind and respectful of others. He loved children and was loved by all who knew him. He attended Living Waters World Outreach Center Church. Jason was a Philly boy at heart, a die-hard Eagles fan and a great at practicing "Irish Yoga." To know Jason was to love him.
He was predeceased by his father, John B. Lockwood, Jr and by his paternal grandparents, John B. Lockwood, Jr. and Laura M. Lockwood.
Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Lockwood, of Amelia City, FL; a sister, Kristy L. Lockwood, of Fernandina Beach, FL; a brother, John B. Lockwood, III; his maternal grandparents, Evelyn Wolf and William Wolf; a niece, Siara J. Lockwood; and three nephews, Micah J. DeAngelo, John B. Lockwood, IV, and James R. Lockwood.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, at Living Waters World Outreach Center, 96282 Brady Point Rd. , Fernandina Beach.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Faith Christian Academy, 96281 Brady Point Rd. , Fernandina Beach, FL 32034.
