Judith Ann (Salenius) McLaughlin, age 74, passed away February 7th at South Shore Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born in the Neponset section of Dorchester, MA to Dr. Victor and Laura Salenius. Married 55 years to John J. "Jack" McLaughlin, Sr. also of Dorchester. Judy and Jack moved to Pembroke where they raised their three children. She enjoyed travelling, golfing, swimming, cooking and reading. She loved spending time with her friends, family and pets. Judy is survived by her husband, Jack and two children Judith Maher and her husband Jeff, of Vermont, and Mark McLaughlin, of Florida, and her daughter-in-law, Lisa McLaughlin of Pembroke. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Meghan and Christopher Maher and Heather McLaughlin; as well as her sisters Joan Ahern and Victoria Salenius and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her son John "Jack" McLaughlin, Jr. and her brother, John "Pete" Salenius. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends as well as her cat, Lucy. A funeral mass and celebration of life will be held Thursday, February 11th at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Hanson, MA.
