Maria Frederico of Brockton died Feb. 7th in the St. Joseph Manor Brockton. She was the wife of the late Joaquin Semedo.
She was born in S. Domingos, Santiago, Cabo Verde daughter of the late Mitias Frederico and Joana Dos Reis Goncalves. She has been a resident of Brockton for the past 19 years coming from Cape Verde. Maria enjoyed listening to traditional Cape Verdean music, dancing and cooking for family and friends also a communicant of St. Edith Stein Church.
She is survived by her loving sons and daughter, Jose, Paulo, Zacarias, Carlos Semedo all of Brockton and Paulino Semedo of Cape Verde, also daughter Maria C. Frederico of Brockton, 2 sisters, Firmina Frederico of Praia, Cape Verde and Isabel Frederico of Portugal, many Grand and Great grandchildren.
Services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court St. Brockton Saturday Feb. 13th at 8AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church, Brockton at 9AM. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Thurs. Feb.11th and Friday Feb. 12th from 5-9 PM.
