Linda (Janes) Teets, 64, passed away Saturday February 6, 2016 at Baptist Hospital East.
She was born in Columbia, KY to Hobson & Mabel (Tabor) Janes.
Linda was a retired Registered Nurse, for the Jefferson County Health Dept. and a member of Medora Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Gary Teets; and a brother, Bernard Janes.
Survivors include her children: Geoffrey A. Teets (Jennifer) and Denise D. Curry (James); 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; 3 sisters: Juanita Underhill (Ed), and Lois & Patricia Janes; and her longtime companion: Bruce Catlett.
Funeral services will be held at 11 :00 AM Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday 2:00 – 8:00 PM.
