Passed away on February 5, 2016
Proud veteran of the US Navy during WWII. 37 year employee of Northwestern Bell Telephone Company (District Plant Manager, Construction). Preceded in death by wife Alice; infant daughter Connie; brother Bill. Survived by sons Michael (Gerda) & Steven (Beth); daughters Gwen (Wayne) Peterson & Cathy (Gary) Hanson; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brothers Richard (Delrose) & Art; sister Dorothy Mohwinkle; many nieces & nephews. Private family service with burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Augustana Health Care Center, Hastings, MN. Our thanks to the staff at Augustana Health Care Center, Hastings & HealthEast Hospice for the great care provided our father. Lunches with relatives & special friends were a great treat to him. His kindness & sense of humor brought smiles to those around him. He will be greatly missed.
