DONAGHEY, Neil Edward, of Derry, NH, passed away at home at age 59 on Wednesday, February 3, 2016. Neil is the loving son of Lorraine and the late Robert Edward Donaghey. In addition to his mother, Neil is survived by his beloved wife and lifelong companion Sharon Donaghey, his elder brother Wayne Robert Donaghey of Derry, his three children Dianna Donaghey Coppolo and her husband Stephen, William Donaghey, and Colleen Donaghey Sawlan and her husband Stanley. He is also survived by six beloved grandchildren, Calvin Stanley Sawlan, Devlin Lino Donaghey, Madeleine Marie Coppolo, Trudy Leah Donaghey, Avery Grace Coppolo, and Amber Lorraine Sawlan, his nieces, Amanda and Bobbi Donaghey, and his nephew James Hardy Jr. Neil was born and raised in Lawrence, MA and was a proud 42-year employee of Raytheon in Andover. Neil was known for his generous and gentle nature, and unwavering sense of humor. He will be sorely missed.
Calling hours were held on Sunday, February 7th from 12 noon to 3 p.m. at Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd, Londonderry, NH. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 8th at 10 a.m. at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 1 South Road, Londonderry. Those wishing to remember Neil are encouraged to make a small contribution to the American Diabetes Association.
