Margaret M. (Forrest) Salute, 85, of Walpole died February 1 in the Harrington House in Walpole. She was the wife of the late Dominick Salute who died in 1994.
Born in Walpole, January 17, 1931, the daughter of the late Mary Forrest, Mrs. Salute was a lifelong Walpole resident.
Margaret had worked for the Faye Paper Company, she had also worked at Kendall Mills, Plimpton Press, Just Rite Cleaners and the Victoria Haven Nursing Home.
She loved watching the PBS television channel, word searching and playing bingo. She had been the President of the Residents Association of the Harrington House.
Margaret is survived by her children, John Salute and his wife Barbara of Norwood and her daughter Donna Salute of Walpole.
She is also survived by her granddaughter Kristin Salute of Norwood.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, February 5 from the Ginley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 892 Main Street, Walpole at 8:45 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in Blessed Sacrament Church at 9:30 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, South Walpole.
Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 4- 8 p.m.
