Paul E. Harrington, Jr., 50, of Brockton, passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday January 30th, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Weymouth, son of the late Paul E. and Sally J. (Delano) Harrington. Paul grew up in Whitman and was a graduate of Whitman-Hanson High School, class of 1983.
Paul worked a variety of jobs over the years, including Marcellos in Whitman, Wearguard in Norwell and most recently at the Work Express in Brockton, as a supervisor.
He overcame many obstacles over the years and his family is very proud of his ability to persevere.
He is survived by his sisters Patricia Pickard and her husband Darrell of Middleboro and Alison Ruggiero and her husband John of No. Weymouth. He was also the uncle of Alex, Lindsay and Dominic and had many uncles, aunts and cousins.
His funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 3rd at 7:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St (Rte 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. Visitation will be prior to the service from 4:00-7:00PM.
