Loving father of Julie O’Connor-Viera and her husband Michael of West Roxbury, Patty Moynihan and her husband Bryan of Norwood and Kathy Davis and her husband Mark of Roslindale. Cherished Da of Caitlin, Meaghan, Shelagh, Connor and Jack. Devoted brother of Claire Stanley of KY; and the late Sr. Anna O’Connor SSND, William O’Connor, Jean Celeste and Rev. Robert D. O’Connor. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury, on Wednesday, February 3, at 9:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Holy Name Church at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 to 7:00pm. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
Graduate of Boston College class of 1973, retired Director of Radiology Administration at Massachusetts General Hospital. John was an instructor of Radiology at Northeastern University and Bunker Hill Community College.
