New Bedford – Robert De Barros, age 64 of New Bedford, passed away on Thursday January 21, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the son of the late Grace (Barrett) and the late William De Barros. Mr. De Barros spent all of his life in this area and worked as a carpenter.
His surviving family includes his son Tyson Galvin of New Bedford; 4 siblings: Kenneth, Lloyd and Carl De Barros and Beverly Fields all of New Bedford;5 step-siblings: William De Barros, “Tiny” De Barros, Timothy De Barros, Melinda De Barros and Melody De Barros as well as 1 grandson. He was also the brother of the late Ronald De Barros.
In accordance with his wishes he will be cremated, a service for Robert will take place in the funeral home on Wednesday February 3rd from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, MA.
