Bruce Bobzin, age 68, of Weymouth passed away on January 28, 2015 at South Shore Hospital. Bruce was born in Quincy and has lived in Weymouth for 56 years. He worked at Datel Corporation in Stoughton as a Quality Control Inspector for 5 years, an electrician’s helper in Virginia for 3 years, Care Attendant in the State Mental Health Department for 6 years, and was a Land Surveyor for Perkins Surveying in Hingham.
Bruce is survived by his father George E. Bobzin of Weymouth, his siblings Douglas Bobzin and his wife Sally of VA and Marcia Hicks and her husband William of Halifax and his longtime girlfriend, Sandy Perry of Easton. Bruce is also the loving uncle of Joseph, Theodore, Arron, Lindsay, and Erin.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours for Bruce on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016 from 4-7PM at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth, MA 02190. A memorial service will take place in the Funeral Home immediately following the visitation at 7 PM in honor of Bruce.
