Mary Sherry Powers age 100 of Norfolk, formerly of Sharon passed away January 27th at the Norwood Hospital. Born, raised and educated in Glasgow, Scotland Mary came to the United States in 1970. She lived in Sharon for many years and enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, knitting, crocheting, and was an avid reader. Beloved wife of the late Bernard Sherry and Michael Powers. Mother of Marguerite “Etty” Rafferty of Norfolk, Peter J. Sherry of S.C. and the late Anna Zanetti, Maisie O’Harte and Teddy Sherry. Sister of the late Anna Rae. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church Sharon Tuesday at 12 noon. Visiting hour at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday prior to the mass from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
