Mary P. (Mack) DeSisto, age 91 of Methuen passed away on January 18, 2016. Mary was born in Lawrence on August, 15, 1924 to the late Michael and Mary (Heneghan) Mack. She was a graduate of both St. Patrick’s Grammar School and High School. Mrs. DeSisto was a former communicant at St. Francis Church of Dracut. She enjoyed day trips to Foxwoods, the Wrentham Outlets and the Kittery Outlets. The family would like to send their most sincere thank you and appreciation to the staff at Methuen Health and Rehab, the CNAs at Happy Hearts, and Maureen, the CNA from Methuen. They would also like to thank the following families for their care and concern, the St. Amand Family, the Angelo Family and the Maramma Family.
Mary was the beloved wife of the late Carmine DeSisto with whom she shared over 30 years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of Maureen DeSisto of Methuen. Mary was the dear sister of Doris Mack of Methuen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 9:00 AM at St. Francis Church, 115 Wheeler Rd. Dracut. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery of Methuen. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary, 243 Charles St. Boston, MA 02114.
