Obituary

James D. Gould age 55 of Natick died Wednesday January 27, 2016 at the Whittier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Westborough.
He was the beloved husband of Paula A. (Griffin) Gould sharing 28 years of marriage.
A Natick resident for 30 years, he was born in Portland, Maine and raised in Freeport, Maine. He was the son of the late Charles and Marylyn (Mitchell) Gould.
Jamie was an Aviation Mechanic at Hanscom Air Force Base for 30 years. He had also just started his dream job of teaching air craft mechanics at the National Aviation Academy at Hanscom Airfield.
Jamie maintained an enthusiasm for the outdoors, contributing to his community, working hard and was dedicated to his family. He was a youth ministry leader at Good Shepherd Parish in Wayland, a Scout Master for Boy Scout troop 1775 in Natick, lifeguard and swim instructor at the Longfellow Sports Club in Natick, a member of the N.R.A and of the Marine Corps League.
He enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, motorcycle riding, and working part time for the American Thunder Fireworks Company.
Jamie was a proud Veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps.
In addition to his wife he survived by two sons Steven G. Gould and Daniel R. Gould both of Natick, two brothers Charles M. Gould and his companion Gail Hood of Portland Maine, Matthew R. Gould and his wife Davien of Falmouth MA, one sister Barbara L. Gould and her companion Michael Ray of Lincolnville Maine, brothers in-law Thomas Griffin of Northbridge, Paul Griffin of Framingham, sister in-law Patricia Griffin of Natick, and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother in law of the late James Griffin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral on Monday, February 1st at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick MA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Zepherin’s Church, Wayland at 10:00 A.M.
Visiting hours are Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Natick Veterans Council or the charity of your choice.
