Mary C. (Franzosa ) Centrella of Medford died on Tuesday, January 26. Born and raised in Charlestown, she was the daughter of the late Michelangelo and Marie Grace (Simone) Franzosa.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Centrella, and devoted mother of the late Nola Mansfield, JoAnn Garue and her surviving husband Eugene of Stoneham, and Lawrence Centrella. She was the loving grandmother of Joseph Mansfield and his wife Wanda, Mark Mansfield, all of Medford, Jennifer Bakr of North Reading, Justin Garue and his fiancée' Elaina Georgopoulos of Stoneham, and Jessica Garue of Medford. Mary was the loving great grandmother of Adam, Olivia and Cole Bakr, and cherished sister of Michael Franzosa of Cape Cod, Domenic Franzosa of Everett, Pat Franzosa of Reading, and the late Frank Franzosa and Annette Cerra. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, January 30, at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday, January 29, from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
