CIARCIA, Paul J. of Winthrop, passed away on January 24, 2016. He was 75. He was the beloved husband of Jeanne M. (Dooley) Ciarcia. Born in Revere, he was the son of the late Antonio and Anna M. (Venuti) Ciarcia. He was the devoted father of Robert C. Mahar and his wife Traci of Danvers, Paula J. Robson and her husband Sean of Winthrop, and the late Glenna M. Carew. Adored grandfather of Alanna M., Robert C. Jr., and John G. Mahar of Danvers, Olivia J., and Chloe M. Robson of Winthrop and Christopher P. Carew of Winthrop. Dear brother of John Ciarcia and his wife Marie of Londonderry, NH, Joseph Ciarcia and his wife Adeline of Danvers and the late Anthony Ciarcia. Brother-in-law of Susan Ciarcia of Winthrop. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. Winthrop on Fri. Jan. 29, at 10:30am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are invited. Cremation to follow will be private.
