Armand "Ray" Tisdale, Jr., age 85, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2016. He was the husband of the late Maria "Mary" (Gouveia) Tisdale.
Born in Westport, he was the son of Armand and Eugenie (Tardiff) Tisdale and the brother of the late Jeannette Rancourt, Rita Martin, Alice Medeiros and Georgette Ringuette.
He worked at Seekonk Auto Body as a painter and appraiser, and at Bristol Toyota for more than 50 years. He enjoyed fishing, sports, gardening and animals.
He is survived by his children, Paula Tisdale Baptista (East Freetown), Raymond Tisdale (Fall River), Elaine Tisdale Asselin and her husband Paul Asselin (Fall River), and a grandson, Robert Pacheco (New Bedford) and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Wednesday at 10 AM from the South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Espirito Santo Church, Alden St. Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5 - 8 PM.
