Lawrence Medeiros, age 78, of Fall River, passed away at home on January 24, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Eileen (Reis) Medeiros. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Antone and Honarina (Papoula) Medeiros. Lawrence was a parishioner and highly involved with Good Shepherd Parish. He sang in the choir for many years and was a very charitable man for all those in need. He also served as a Eucharistic minister for the church. Prior to retirement, he worked as a machine operator for Globe Mfg. for over 30 years.
Along with his wife Lawrence leaves behind his children Lisa Medeiros of Fall River, Paul Medeiros of Middleboro and Larry Medeiros of Wrentham; brothers James Medeiros of Fall River and Manny Medeiros of NC; as well as 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Lawrence was predeceased by his brothers David and Tony Medeiros.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Thursday here at 8 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial Good Shepard Parish at 9 A.M.
