Obituary

Clemence T. Cote 89, formerly of Clinton St. died Saturday, January 23, 2016 at St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Osias Cote. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Napoleon and Marie (Brunelle) Tellier. Clemence worked in the textile industry for many years retiring from Premier Thread. She was an avid bingo player and Patriots fan. She also enjoyed playing the slots at Twin River Casino. Family was the most important thing to Clemence and she dedicated most of her life to the care of her daughter Susan.

She is survived by two sons Normand Cote of Woonsocket, and Michael Cote of Greenville, three daughters Lorraine Martin of Woonsocket, Irene Plante of Chepachet, and Susan Cote of North Smithfield, nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandchild Matthew, and siblings Jean, Wilbrod, and Herve Tellier, Beatrice Chevrette, Aurore Rivard, and Gertrude Archambault.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home. 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Jean Bapatiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-6 pm.
