Gilford-----Linda Lucy (Cabral) Giguere, age 75, of 9 Sargent Place Lot 130, Gilford, NH, died Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the Franklin NH Regional Hospital. She was born on June 8, 1940 in Bristol, NH, the daughter of the late Arthur "Nick" and Elizabeth "Babe" (Blake) Cabral.
Linda loved playing bingo and was an avid Red Sox fan. She also loved watching game shows and western cowboy shows and movies.
Members of the family include her daughter Tammy Stone; three sisters, Marjorie Bird, Jeanne Guptill and Nikki Thomas and seven grandchildren, Jay, Jason, Jesse, Tiffani, Erika, Danielle and J-Mitch. Linda is also survived by five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her husband of 37 years Richard W. Giguere who passed away in December, a daughter Deborah O'Brien, a brother Norman "Butch" Cabral and a sister Joyce O' Dougherty.
All are welcome to attend a memorial service on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 1:00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneu-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia, NH, using the carriage house entrance.
A private burial will take place in the spring at the Homeland Cemetery in Bristol, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Linda's name to a charity of one's choosing.
