Colleen F. Cronin passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016. She was the daughter of the late John F. and Eleanor F. (Barrett) Cronin.
Colleen attended Brockton High School and Burdett College in Boston. She dedicated her career to serving the public.
During her lifetime, she was a member of the National Association for Female Executives, the League of Women Voters and the Public Notary Association. She also volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club. She enjoyed politics, photography, gardening and music. She was always up for new experiences whether it be marching with Reverend Martin Luther King, New Year’s Eve in Times Square or attending Woodstock. Colleen will be best remembered for her sense of humor and generous heart.
Colleen is survived by her sisters, Kathleen Troll of Newark, CA and Sheila Giardina of Waltham. She was also the sister of the late Christine Brown and Noreen Hansen. She leaves her best friends, Colleen Casavant of Kingston and Courtney Brunaccini of E. Bridgewater, as well as several wonderful nieces and nephews and beautiful grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visiting hours are omitted. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9 am in Christ the King Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
