In Boston, of Taunton, January 20, 2016 Lois (Oliver) Cardoza wife of Henry Cardoza died at Beth Israel Hospital at the age of 79. Born and Educated in Middleboro, Lois was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Houlihan) Oliver. Lois was a retired Teachers Aide for the City of Taunton for over thirty two years. She enjoyed bowling with the seniors, playing bocce at the Italian Naturalization Club in Taunton and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lois was the mother of Michael Cardoza and his companion Lisa of West Roxbury, Jeff Cardoza of Somerville, Cathy (Cardoza) McCarthy of Taunton and the late Timothy Cardoza. Grandmother of seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Sister of the late Joseph Oliver and Joanne LaFaive. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton Tuesday January 26 at 10:30 AM. A Mass will be held at Annunciation of the Lord Church in Taunton at 11:30 AM. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5-8 PM. Interment St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
