Irene M. Lawrence of Canton, formerly of Hyde Park died January 17, 2016, following a brief illness. She was 82 years old.
Daughter of the late Burton and Margaret Taylor (Concannon), Devoted mother of Linda M. Lawrence and her partner Susan O’Connell of Boston, Paula J. Lawrence and her spouse Luanne E Witkowski of Boston, David P. Lawrence of Attleboro, Diane I. Newayno and her husband Robert of Canton, and the late Steven R. Lawrence. Loving sister of Marcia Trementozzi of Marshfield, Paul Taylor of Falmouth and the late Sandra Taylor. Proud grandmother of Robert S. Newayno Taylor R. Newayno and Rubi I. O’Connell. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and blessed with many close friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. John Looney for his care and support throughout her illness. Visiting hours Thursday, January 21 from 4-8 PM in the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman St., Canton. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 700 Washington St., Canton. Interment will be private.
