YANNI, Claire M. (Massarelli) Of Dedham passed with peace and grace on January 18, 2016 with her family at her side. Beloved wife of the late Robert V. Yanni. Devoted mother of Kenneth Yanni of ME, Denise Buckley and her husband Bill of Dedham, Richard Yanni and his wife Paula of E. Falmouth, Debbie DeLuca and her husband James of Plainville, Donna Ghizzoni and her husband Rich of Norwood, and the late Glenn R. Yanni. Blessed with 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild. Loving sister of Lois Driscoll of Walpole, Daniel Massarelli and his wife Linda of Norwood, and the late Richard, Ronald, and Robert Massarelli. Daughter of the late Michael and Marie Massarelli. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Claire lived her life in Dedham where she married her high school sweetheart, Robert. They were married for 49 years. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and her greatest passion was helping others.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Friday, Jan. 22 from 9:30-10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 11:00am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
