EAST HANOVER … Margareutte, “Marge”, Odette Glutting (Killian) 86, passed away peacefully, at home, January 17, 2016. She was the widow of Roy E. Glutting. She was born in New York City a daughter of the late Anton J. and Alma (Sweeney) Killian. She had lived in East Hanover since her teenage years.
She married my father at a very young age of 17 after he left the Coast Guard at the age of 21. It was love at the first sight. Mom was a hardworking, honest, persistent, and caring women. She was always ready to help another in need. She gave her all to her grandchildren. She was always ready to help another in need.
She was a waitress at the former Afton Restaurant for many years. She was a parishioner of Kitchell Memorial Presbyterian Church, East Hanover. She served a Girl Scout Leader, was an avid bowler, and was a member of the Senior Citizens Club of East Hanover.
Survivors include daughter Barbara Flowers and her husband Reginald of East Hanover; her sisters Carol Disosway and Mary Schiano both of Florida previously of East Hanover NJ; 2 grandsons:Reginald and Steven, many nieces and nephews.
She also had brothers Charlie, Bunty, and Robert Killian previously of East Hanover. Private services were under the direction of the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, MA
