Obituary

Mark Gordon Chin, of Weymouth, passed away suddenly at home on January 13, 2016. Mark was born, raised, and educated in Dorchester. He joined the army at the age of 17 and served two years in Germany during the Vietnam Era. When he returned he worked for the Boston Fire Department on Engine 22 Ladder 13. Mark and his wife of 42 yrs, Rosemarie, grew up on the same street in Dorchester. Mark enjoyed building models, military history, movies, and especially spending time with his grandson Maxwell. Mark will be missed for his pranks and his great sense of humor.

Mark is survived by his beloved wife Rosemarie Chin of Weymouth, his daughter Christina Chin and her partner Scott Kenfield of Greenfield, his grandson Maxwell, his siblings Michael Chin of Brockton, Maureen Dowd of Brockton, Anthony Morad of FL, Jan Ponder of Brockton, Raymond Ponder of Brockton, and the late Deborah Dixon (Barboza). Mark is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
