Obituary

NATICK: Filip Simjanoski, age 27, of Natick, died on Tuesday Morning, January 12, 2016, with his close knit and devoted family at his side.

Born in Skopje, Macedonia, he was the much-loved son of Sasho and Elena Simjanoski. The family immigrated to the United States the day after Fil’s 13th birthday and settled in Natick. Fil attended the Kennedy School and was a 2006 graduate of Natick High School. He continued his education at Nichols College, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.

Fil had worked at TD Bank while in high school and as he made his way through college. After graduation, he was employed as a personal banking specialist with Beal Bank in Wellesley, a position he enjoyed until he became ill on Thanksgiving week. An enthusiastic sports fan and champion of the Celtics, Bruins, and Patriots, Fil was known for an amazing cache of stats and trivia that he was happy to share with those around him. He loved cars, particularly his Mazda.

He is survived by his parents; his bother, Aleksandar Simjanoski; and grandmother, Veselinka Yesko, all of Natick; and a large and loving extended family in Macedonia.

His funeral service will be in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, on Saturday, January 16th at 10:AM. Burial will follow at Dell Park Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be Friday, 4 – 7PM.
