Theresa A. “Terri” (Mathews) Bryan, age 46, of Brockton, died Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Terri was the daughter of Kathleen A. (Murphy) Mathews of Brockton and Wareham and the late Richard P. Mathews. Born and raised in Brockton, she was a graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School, class of 1987, and Bridgewater State University. Terri was currently employed at Energy Services Group in Norwell, and formerly worked at Talbots in Lakeville. She was a member of Cardinal Spellman High School Alumni, Bridgewater State University Alumni, Phi Pi Delta Fraternity and was co-founder of East Coast Pirate Crew. Terri was a fun loving, caring and kind mother, daughter and sister. She enjoyed time with her friends and family, especially with her boys. She was also an animal lover and active participant in charities for children and Melanoma research.
Terri is also survived by two sons, Tyler R. and Tanner W. Bryan of Brockton; two brothers Richard P. Mathews Jr. and his wife Susan of Medfield, and Timothy P. Mathews and his wife Erin of Raynham. She was the aunt of Makayla, Ricky, Connor and William; Soul Mate of Matthew J. Perry of Lakeville and niece of William Murphy, Ed Mathews, the late Joseph Murphy, Mary Beth Murphy and Margaret Simmons. She is also survived by many cousins and close friends. Terri’s family would like to extend a special thanks to Ellen Twomey-Mathews and Michael Landers for their loving care.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday 4-7pm, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 7pm.
