Laconia-----David Raymond Albert, 65, of Holman Street died peacefully surrounded by his family Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Lakes Region General Hospital after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born October 26, 1950 in Berlin, NH, David was the son of the late Raymond and Elizabeth “Betty” (Rosenberg) Albert. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire in 1973 he started his forty-two year long career in the print business in Boston, MA for Moore Business Forms and was later transferred to Laconia. David loved sports and over the years participated in many but most recently golf, tennis and hiking. He also coached many of his children’s teams including basketball, baseball and soccer. David cherished spending time with family and friends including vacations on Block Island, travel to Florida and Washington, D.C., canoe trips in the Allagash Wilderness, walking his dog and attending sporting events.
