Obituary

Mr. Maurice Pelletier, a resident of Middleton, formerly of Salem and beloved husband of the late Marguerite Rita (Valliere) passed away at the Rosewood Nursing Home in Peabody on Monday, January 4, 2016. He was 86 years old.
Born in Salem, Massachusetts, on November 3, 1929, he was the beloved son of the late David and Clara (Gagnon) Pelletier. Maurice was a proud Army veteran. He had been employed as an Assembler by the Berringer Plastics Company for many years. In his spare time, Maurice loved to go ice skating and had enjoyed skating until last year. He also enjoyed Square Dancing wife his late wife, Rita. Maurice was a former member of the Holy Name Society at St. Anne Church in Salem. He will be dearly missed.
Maurice is survived by his nephew; Daniel and his wife Lisa Pelletier of Salem, brother Herve Pelletier of Raymond, New Hampshire and Lucille Martineau of Clifton, New Jersey. He was also the brother of the late Lionel, Eugene, Real, Wilfred and the Rev. Nestor Pelletier.
His funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Adelaide Church, 708 Lowell Street, Peabody, on Thursday, January 7, 2016, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visitation will be held in the church, prior to the mass, from 10 to 11 AM. Interment will be held in St. Mary Cemetery, Salem. Donations in Maurice’s memory may be made to the above named church.
