Thomas E. Walkowiak, 83, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015 at University of Mass./Memorial Hospital, University Campus in Worcester.
Tommy’s wife, Gail F. (Hofford) Walkowiak died July 10, 2014.
He leaves a son, Gregory T. Walkowiak and his partner Cheryl Trudeau and her children Julia and Nick, he also leaves 3 brothers, Francis J. ‘Lolly’ Walkowiak and his wife Frances E. of Webster, Robert A. Walkowiak and Joseph Walkowiak. Also several nieces and nephews and his constant companion "Rondo".
He was predeceased by a brother, Teddy Walkowiak and a sister Virginia Leo.
Tommy was born in Webster, son of the late William and Lucy (Mrozinski) Walkowiak and lived here all his life.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, worked as a truck driver for the former Ethan Allen Co.
Tom enjoyed fishing, reading the newspaper and following his favorite team, the U.Conn “Huskies”.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 10AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St.,burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery in Webster.
