Clara Bertha (Arsenault) Sheehan of Waterford, CT, formerly of Methuen, MA., passed away on January 1, 2016 at Greentree Manor in Waterford, CT.
She was born September 22, 1929 in Madawaska, Maine, one of nine children born to the late Fred and Mable (Goslin) Arsenault. She was married to James Patrick Sheehan, who predeceased her, and they raised their family in Lawrence, MA. Clara loved to play bingo, make puzzles, and was an expert in crochet.
She is survived by her son, John, of Methuen, MA; daughter, Kathleen and husband Kevin Weisensee of Colchester, CT; three grandchildren, Lisa and husband, James Pettey of New London, CT; Christine, of New London, CT; Patrick and wife, Maureen of Eastampton, NJ; five great-grandchildren, a great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by her son, William “Billy”, and all her siblings, John, Paul, Rita (Chapman), William, Fred, Annette (Hughes), Emily (LeFebre), and Harold.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Lazarus House Ministries, P.O.
